How We Clean Solar Panels
Water-Fed Extension Poles allow us to access any panel anywhere!
Water-Fed Pole technology is our primary tool when it comes to cleaning solar panels because there quick, eco friendly, reliable and extremely safe. Water-Fed Poles are a lot quicker than using traditional methods for solar panel cleaning.
Poles are capable of extending to a reach of 20 plus meters easily and quickly, giving our clients huge cost savings.
The pole harnesses a solar panel friendly brush that has been specifically designed with a soft bristle for solar panel cleaning.
The brush is equipped with water jets that expel a consistent stream of purified water.
We use a Purified Water system that leaves your panels spotless
Hard water and untreated water will leave behind marks containing mineral deposits.. attracting moss, lichen dirt and dust particles.
We clean Solar panels with a water purification system (a process known as reverse osmosis + de-ionisation) this removes all contaminants and minerals from the water and leaves your panels spot free and also does not effect your tank drinking water.
Our check-up includes a thorough inspection of every aspect of your solar system:
Solar Technologies - Parabolic Collector
A parabolic collector consists of a linear parabolic reflector that concentrates light into a receiver positioned along the reflectors focal line. The receiver is a tube positioned along the focal points of the linear parabolic mirror and is filled with a working fluid. The reflector is made to follow the sun during daylight hours by tracking along a single axis. Parabolic trough systems provide the best land use of any solar technology.
Solar Technologies - Photovoltaics -
A solar cell, or photovoltaic cell (PV) is a device that converts light into electric current using the photovoltaic effect. The first solar cell was constructed by Charles Fritts in the 1880s. The German industrialist Ernst Werner Von Siemens was among those who recognized the importance of this discovery. In 1931 the German engineer Bruno Lange developed a photo cell using silver selenide in place of copper oxide.
Sims 20 point safety & operation check-up!
Solar PV systems are subject to intense weather conditions, pests, poor installation workmanship, degradation of components etc, this all contributes to problems within the normal operation of the solar system. Our experienced technicians conduct a complete 20 point safety & operation inspection of your solar system that will identify any damaged, perished or potential hazards that may present a risk.
Can I clean my own panels?
NEVER attempt to clean solar panels yourself.
Its recommended to use a professional solar cleaner to clean your panels as a qualified technician will have been trained for working at heights safely, will have the correct equipment and will be insured accordingly.
Most importantly a professional will be aware of any risk of electrical dangers and possible electric shocks.
